Generic Hardware
We offer support for non-Preseem hardware as long as it meets the requirements outlined below.
Generic/Customer-Provided Hardware Requirements
Preseem supports customer-provided hardware as long as it meets the hardware requirements outlined below. For more details, see the details covered below.
CPU: Intel x86-64
Operating System: CentOS (contact Preseem for specific version)
Network Interfaces
Preseem requires one network interface for management and cloud connectivity. Any NIC can be used for the management interface.
The interfaces that will pass subscriber traffic must be based on one of the following chipsets. This is a hard requirement for the Preseem platform. See the supported NICs shown below:
Supported NIC Chipsets
Hardware Requirements
Please note that hardware requirements, such as CPU and Memory vary depending on the throughput you intend to support. Because of this, we recommend contacting us before deploying Preseem on customer-provided or third-party hardware. Our team can review your planned deployment and confirm whether the hardware meets Preseem’s performance and compatibility requirements.
