Network Interfaces

Preseem requires one network interface for management and cloud connectivity. Any NIC can be used for the management interface.

The interfaces that will pass subscriber traffic must be based on one of the following chipsets. This is a hard requirement for the Preseem platform. See the supported NICs shown below:

Verifying Hardware Requirements

Please note that hardware requirements can vary significantly depending on the deployment. Factors such as expected throughput, packet rate, number of intersected links, enabled features, CPU, and memory requirements can all affect sizing.

Because of this, we recommend contacting Preseem before deploying on customer-provided or third-party hardware. Our team can review the planned deployment and confirm whether the hardware meets Preseem’s performance and compatibility requirements.
